Erasmus+ Staff Week 2024 events continue for the third day at the Lithuania Business College
The third day of the Erasmus+ Staff Week 2024 started at the College. The day began with a science dissemination event, which was moderated by the head of the Science and Applied Research Department of LBC, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Simona Grigaliūnienė, where various presentations were held and good practices and opportunities for cooperation in the field of science were shared between partner institutions. The following reports were presented at the event: “Excellent research projects across Lithuania and Europe – the case study of Lithuania Business College practice” Assoc. prof. Digital Technologies, FoICDT, University of Mauritius, Mauritius, Assoc Prof. Dr. (Mrs) Maleika Heenaye- Mamode Khan, Dean, Faculty of Information, Communication and Digital Technologies, University of Mauritius, Mauritius, “Good practices of the project developed by the German Institute for Tourism Research” Dr. Tim Harms, Program Director International Tourism Management (ITM), Faculty of Business Studies, West Coast University of Applied Sciences, Germany. In the afternoon, the cultural – cognitive part followed. Participants of Erasmus+ Staff Week 2024 visited the climbing and co-working space of the College’s partners, the start-up Fabrique, where the founder of the start-up gave a presentation, “A good model”. After visiting the climbing and co-working space, all participants of the Erasmus+ Staff Week 2024 went on an excursion to Palanga, where they had the opportunity to get to know the most famous places and landscape of Palanga. The third day of Erasmus+ Staff Week 2024 was concluded by the lecture of the College’s partners for students, “The Use of Optical Character Recognition (OCR) Technology for Vehicle Checks and Previous Violation Verification in State Police Systems” by Jurgen Mecaj, Mediterranean University of Albania, Albania.
