Erasmus+ Staff Week 2024 started at the Lithuania Business College
All were welcomed by the Director of the College, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jurgita Martinkienė. Head of International Relations and Projects Department Žilvinas Jauga emphasized the importance of Erasmus+ Staff Week for the College and partner institutions. Deputy director for studies and quality Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kristina Puleikienė presented the program of the entire Erasmus+ staff week. The head of the strategic development and communication department, Modestas Vaikšnoras, introduced the College and conducted a familiarization tour of the College. College Tourism and Communication Department lecturer Assoc. Prof. Dr. Daumantas Bočkus presented a presentation on the topic “Leveraging Tourism for Sustainable Regional Development” to all participants of the Erasmus+ staff week. During the presentation, various active discussions took place. During the first week of Erasmus+ staff week, there were also presentations of all partners institutions and a contact fair attended by representatives of higher education institutions: Bayburt University, Turkey; Biznesa Management College, Latvia; University of Mauritius, Mauritius; University of Murcia, Spain; IT STEP University, Ukraine; Tarsus University, Turkey; Selcuk University, Turkey; Mediterranean University of Albania, Albania; Dicle University, Turkey; FH Westküste, Germany; Rīga Stradiņs university, Latvia; Liepaja university, Latvia. College Partners Assoc. prof. Dr. Antonina Plaletska-Iukalo, Ukraine led a theoretical and practical session on the topic: Head of Soft Skills School for the participants of the Erasmus+ Staff Week and the academic community of the College. College partners Ērika Lauberga-Sleže, Liepaja university, Latvia, conducted a seminar on Effective Cross Cultural Management for College students and Erasmus+ Staff Week participants. College partners Ilir Hebovija, Mediterranean University of Albania, Albania, gave a lecture to College students on the topic: “Digital Leadership”. The first day of Erasmus+ Staff Week 2024 of the Lithuanian Business College ended with an official dinner on the terrace of Sky 21. We are glad that the first day of Erasmus+ Staff Week 2024 out of the four days of the event cycle was informative and useful both for the College and for the College’s international partners.
