Today, separate follow-up meetings with the mentees and mentors took place within the framework of the CinnovatE project
These meetings provided an important opportunity to reflect on almost half a year of work, review the progress made, the goals achieved, the challenges encountered, and the next steps ahead.
During the discussions, we reflected on what we can already be proud of, which solutions have proven effective, and where further attention is still needed. It is encouraging to see that, at this stage, we are already talking not only about ideas, but also about prototypes, production opportunities, marketing challenges, market positioning, and preparation to present solutions to an international audience. Together, we are learning not only how to address challenges, but also how to pause and celebrate the first achievements.
We are especially pleased that, within the framework of the CinnovatE project, two startups were submitted from our side for further evaluation regarding the opportunity to participate in the South Summit in Madrid. We are currently awaiting the results regarding their further participation in this international innovation and startup event. The submitted startups represent different yet highly relevant areas for innovation and sustainable growth. One of them focuses on the development of early-stage startups, fundraising, strategic positioning, business growth, digital transformation, and artificial intelligence solutions. The other is a Lithuanian startup operating in the health and baby-care sector, developing sustainable, durable, and multifunctional baby products that contribute to more conscious consumption and well-being.
Both mentors and mentees also evaluated the progress made by giving scores and reflecting on the current stage of development. The assessment showed that there is already a strong foundation and visible progress, while also leaving room for growth, further improvement, and a clear ambition to reach 10 out of 10.
We are currently actively preparing for the stages of the CinnovatE acceleration competition related to the potential participation in the South Summit in Madrid, which will take place on 3-5 June 2026. Before that, an important preparation stage is planned – the Pitch Training and Warm-up activities on 18-22 May 2026. Further project stages will also include the Masterclass Series & Pilots programme planned for October-December 2026.
During the separate meeting with the mentors, it was also discussed that follow-up meetings could have taken place more frequently. This insight is particularly valuable, as it helps us strengthen the mentoring process and better respond to startups’ needs throughout the project. It was also agreed that, within the framework of the CinnovatE project, startups will have the opportunity to continue receiving mentoring support for another six months, with meetings taking place once a month. All parties agreed that such continuity is both necessary and valuable, as it will help startups further develop their solutions, prepare for the market, strengthen their pitching skills, and move forward in a consistent and focused way.
In addition, on 12-17 October 2026, an international camp will take place at Lithuania Business College in Klaipėda within the framework of the CinnovatE project. This will be another important stage of the project, bringing together participants, mentors, and partners to further develop ideas, strengthen entrepreneurial competencies, and continue working on innovation-driven and sustainability-oriented solutions.
We sincerely thank the mentees for their engagement and the mentors for their valuable insights, practical advice, and readiness to continue working together. The CinnovatE journey continues – from reflection and preparation to real opportunities within the international innovation ecosystem.
