Erasmus staff week 2023 started for the sixth time at the Lithuania Business College

The development of internationality and science is one of the strategic areas of activity in the College. To increase internationality and develop partnerships with foreign partners, the International Relations and Projects Department of the College organizes the Erasmus staff week every year. On the sunny morning of the second day of May, Samanta Štraupaitė, the head of the International Relations and Projects Department of the Lithuania Business College, welcomed all the gathered partners. Also, the assembled guests were greeted by the Director of the College, Assoc. prof. Dr. Jurgita Martinkienė and the entire management. The strategic development and communication department introduced the partners to the College and its history. During the first day, the guests also listened to today’s relevant messages: lect. Indrė Razbadauskaitė-Venskė presented a report on the topic „Marketing and consumer behavior trends”, Associate Professor Putinas Bielskis of the Department of Tourism and Communication presented a report on the topic „Tourism transformation: from mass tourism to smart tourism”, Head of the Department of Technology Assoc. prof. Dr. Simona Grigaliūnienė presented a report on „Cyber security defense – national and international situation approach”. Each presentation was followed by a discussion. Also, the partners briefly presented each of the institutions they represented, and after all the presentations there was an exchange of contacts and a discussion of further opportunities and forms of cooperation. The day was crowned by an official dinner. This year, during the Erasmus staff week, we received 25 partners from 8 countries (Turkey, Poland, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ukraine, Spain, Latvia, Cyprus, Albania) and 18 higher education institutions (Opole University of Technology, University of Tuzla, Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, Giresun university, Harran University, Malatya Turgut Özal University, Karabuk University, Wszechnica Polska Warszaw, Karamanoğlu Mehmetbey University, Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University, University of social and media culture in Toruń – University of applied sciences, Universidad de Jaén, Liepaja University , Alexander College, Bandırma Onyedi Eylül Üniversity, Mediterranean University of Albania, Wszechnica Polska Akademia Nauk Stosowanych w Warszawie.
