LBC Off-Campus Lectures – An Opportunity to Explore Future Career Paths Firsthand

Assoc. Prof. Regina Narkienė, Head of the Department of Management; Lecturer Indrė Šmitienė, Head of the Department of Tourism and Communication; and Lecturer Jurgita Rimgailienė, Head of the Department of Technology, together with second-year international students from the Applied Informatics and Programming, Smart Management, Sales and Logistics Management, and Tourism and Entertainment Business Industries study programmes, visited Klaipėda Container Terminal UAB.
During the visit, students had the opportunity to gain firsthand insight into the company’s operations, key work processes, container handling organisation, and the terminal’s role in the logistics and maritime transport chain.
Such visits provide an excellent opportunity to complement theoretical knowledge acquired during studies with practical examples, experience a real working environment, and gain a better understanding of the day-to-day operations of one of the most important companies in the port city.
