2021 September 13-17. Deputy Director of LBUAS for Studies and Quality doc. Kristina Puleikienė, Head of International Relations and Projects Samanta Štraupaitė and Specialist of the Strategic Development and Communication Department Lidija Šukšterė visited the “Università Europea di Roma” in Italy under the Erasmus+ program.
During the visit, the representatives of LBUAS got acquainted with the university learning system and the challenges experienced during the pandemic. Representatives of LBUAS were interested in the double degree programs available at the university, as well as the extremely low drop-out rate achieved by the university. Much attention was paid to issues related to the development of the Erasmus+ program: teacher and student mobility indicators, stages and tools of the digitization of the Erasmus + program, possibilities to include new study programs in the cooperation agreement were discussed.
During the visit, the representatives of the university were introduced to the 14th International Scientific Conference “Sustainable regional development: economic, management, law and technological possibilities”, the research journal “Management”, the annual international student conferences. The events organized in LBUAS, students’ involvement in additional activities, and the development of social responsibility were discussed.
Erasmus+ mobility visits are important for raising staff qualifications and developing international cooperation.
