What does it really mean to leave everything behind?
On May 15, at Lithuania Business College in Klaipėda, we invite students and academic staff to take part in an interactive workshop on migration — not just to learn, but to experience.
Because migration is often discussed through numbers and policies.
But behind every statistic, there is a human story.
During the workshop, participants will:
- explore how migration shapes our societies today
- discover how digital tools like VolEver connect refugees and volunteers
- take part in the “Journey into Exile” simulation
In this simulation, participants step into the role of people forced to flee their homes — making difficult decisions with limited time, resources, and certainty.
Not as an exercise.
But as a reflection of real experiences faced by millions worldwide.
Because understanding does not start with information.
It starts with perspective.
