Advancing Skills for Sustainable Alliances: SAMExperience Project Enters Final Phase
The SAMExperience (Sustainable Alliance Manager: learning Experience towards Collaborative Skills with Green Consciousness) project is now entering its final stages as partners complete key developments and prepare for the project’s culminating conference. The initiative has been designed to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical competencies in sustainability and collaboration for future professionals. At its core, SAMExperience aims to equip professionals with the collaborative, strategic, and green skills needed to create and manage sustainable alliances, especially within small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the manufacturing sector. Given that nearly 99 % of European businesses are SMEs, building this specialised expertise is critical to enabling successful partnerships and enhancing competitiveness in the transition toward sustainable business models.
Innovative Assessment Centre Methodology: A major milestone in the project’s final phase is the development of a bespoke Assessment Centre methodology for Sustainable Alliance Managers. Led by Mondragon Unibertsitatea (MUE) as part of Work Package 4, this digital, autonomous, and personalised tool enables a structured evaluation of individual competencies.
The Assessment Centre operates within a digital environment and integrates multiple assessment activities to accurately gauge learners’ capabilities. It provides detailed feedback on competency levels and generates tailored learning paths to support ongoing professional growth. This approach not only strengthens self-assessment but also offers a clear roadmap for learners to progress toward the ideal Sustainable Alliance Manager profile.
By combining real-world company challenges with personalised learning recommendations, this methodology aims to reduce skills mismatches and enhance graduates’ readiness to lead sustainable collaborations. This innovative assessment system is a critical building block of the SAMExperience learning ecosystem and represents one of the project’s most strategic contributions.
Partnership Collaboration and Final Preparations: In November 2025, partners gathered for the third in-person Partnership Meeting hosted by the West University of Timișoara (WUT). During this meeting, representatives reviewed overall progress, fine-tuned activities related to the Assessment Centre, and coordinated efforts for the upcoming Final Conference and long-term sustainability of project outcomes.
The event also included workshops focused on blended learning, innovation, and knowledge management. Discussions highlighted the importance of collaborative networks and digital tools as central to shaping future sustainable practice across Europe.
As SAMExperience moves toward completion, the consortium is preparing for a final conference that will showcase project results and promote shared learning across sectors. This event will celebrate the achievements of partners and participants while reinforcing the importance of sustainable alliance management in today’s evolving economic landscape.
Built on a foundation of research, digital innovation, and international cooperation, the SAMExperience project sets a strong precedent for future educational and professional development initiatives aimed at driving sustainability and collaboration across European industry.
