On 26 November 2025, Lithuania Business College hosted a hybrid science dissemination event titled “Integration of Artificial Intelligence Into the Sustainable Development of Teachers’ Competencies in the Digital Ecosystem”.
The event brought together members of the academic community, educators, and digital innovation enthusiasts to discuss how AI-enabled solutions can support the continuous and sustainable development of teachers’ competencies in a rapidly evolving digital ecosystem. Participants explored current research insights and practical examples of AI-driven tools for teaching, assessment, learning analytics, and professional growth in higher education.
Importantly, the discussion was directly aligned with the College’s MTEP (R&D) agenda. The session contributed to applied research and experimental development by helping to:
- identify real-world competency gaps and priority needs in teacher upskilling,
- validate emerging AI use cases in educational practice,
- outline potential pilot activities and evidence-based approaches for future R&D initiatives and project proposals.
The event concluded with an interactive exchange of experiences and forward-looking perspectives on responsible, sustainable, and impactful AI integration in education, strengthening the foundations for further research collaboration and innovation activities at Lithuania Business College.
