Lithuania Business College Strengthens International Cooperation through the CINNOVATE Project / Lietuvos verslo kolegija stiprina tarptautinį bendradarbiavimą įgyvendindama CINNOVATE projektą

Lithuania Business College (LBC), together with its international partners, is implementing the CINNOVATE – “Towards Future Circular Cities through Innovative Education and Entrepreneurial Ecosystems” project. The project brings together higher education, innovation and entrepreneurship to contribute to the development of more sustainable and circular cities.
The project is funded by the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) under Horizon Europe, the European Union’s Framework Programme for Research and Innovation.

As part of the ongoing project activities, Prof. Dr. Angelė Lileikienė, CINNOVATE Project Manager at LBC, together with Project Coordinator Modestas Vaikšnoras, participated in the Second Partners Meeting in Bodø, Norway, hosted by Nord University. The meeting brought project partners together to review progress across the work packages, assess key performance indicators (KPIs), coordinate upcoming activities and discuss the next stages of project implementation.

During the meeting, LBC representatives presented the College’s progress within Work Package 2 and highlighted the results achieved to date. These include a science dissemination event focused on sustainability, innovation, entrepreneurship and the circular economy, a follow-up mentorship programme, the integration of Green FinTech solutions and reverse logistics into formal study programmes, and the continued development of the Sustainable Entrepreneurship Incubator.

To date, 139 students have participated in project training activities, 8 students have taken part in mentorship activities, and 14 academic staff members have received training within the project.

LBC representatives also presented the next phase of activities, which will focus on expanding formal and non-formal training in sustainability, the circular economy, entrepreneurship and innovation, further developing the Sustainable Entrepreneurship Incubator, organising additional mentorship sessions and workshops, and strengthening cooperation with higher education institutions, student organisations, businesses and other external stakeholders.

One of the key upcoming project activities is the CINNOVATE International Project Week – Joint Camp, which will take place at LBC in Klaipėda on 16–20 November 2026. The international week will bring together CINNOVATE project partners, lecturers, students, mentors, mentees and business representatives, alongside participants of the Erasmus+ BIP “PEN Goes Circular: Practice Enterprises for a Sustainable Future.”

The programme will combine entrepreneurship, innovation and sustainability activities with the Green LAB Conference, a visit to the Klaipėda Free Economic Zone, sessions on intellectual property and patents, and engagement with Klaipėda’s business and innovation ecosystem. It will provide a space for international collaboration, co-creation, knowledge exchange and the practical development of ideas.

Through CINNOVATE, LBC continues to strengthen the connection between higher education, business and international cooperation, enabling students, academics and partners to transform knowledge and ideas into practical initiatives that create value in the fields of sustainable entrepreneurship and the circular economy.

Lietuvos verslo kolegija (LTVK) kartu su tarptautiniais partneriais įgyvendina projektą CINNOVATE „Ateities žiedinių miestų kūrimas pasitelkiant inovatyvų švietimą ir verslumo ekosistemas“ (Towards Future Circular Cities through Innovative Education and Entrepreneurial Ecosystems). Projektas jungia aukštąjį mokslą, inovacijas ir verslumą, siekiant prisidėti prie tvaresnių, žiedinės ekonomikos principais grįstų miestų kūrimo.

Projektą finansuoja Europos inovacijų ir technologijų institutas (EIT) pagal Europos Sąjungos mokslinių tyrimų ir inovacijų bendrąją programą „Europos horizontas“ (Horizon Europe).

Įgyvendinant projekto veiklas, CINNOVATE projekto vadovė LTVK prof. dr. Angelė Lileikienė kartu su projekto koordinatoriumi Modestu Vaikšnoru dalyvavo antrajame projekto partnerių susitikime Bodø mieste, Norvegijoje, kurį organizavo Nord universitetas. Susitikimo metu projekto partneriai įvertino darbo paketų įgyvendinimo pažangą ir pagrindinius veiklos rodiklius (KPI), aptarė artėjančias veiklas bei tolesnius projekto įgyvendinimo etapus.

LTVK atstovai pristatė Kolegijos pažangą įgyvendinant 2-ąjį darbo paketą (Work Package 2) ir jau pasiektus rezultatus. Įgyvendintas mokslo sklaidos renginys, skirtas tvarumo, inovacijų, verslumo ir žiedinės ekonomikos temoms, vykdyta tęstinė mentorystės programa, į formalias studijų programas integruoti Green FinTech sprendimai ir grįžtamosios logistikos tematika, taip pat toliau vystomas Tvaraus verslumo inkubatorius.

Iki šiol projekto mokymų veiklose dalyvavo 139 studentai, mentorystės veiklose – 8 studentai, o projekto mokymuose kompetencijas tobulino 14 akademinio personalo atstovų.

Partnerių susitikime taip pat pristatytas kitas LTVK įgyvendinamų veiklų etapas. Numatoma plėsti formalųjį ir neformalųjį mokymą tvarumo, žiedinės ekonomikos, verslumo ir inovacijų temomis, toliau vystyti Tvaraus verslumo inkubatorių, organizuoti papildomas mentorystės sesijas ir praktinius užsiėmimus bei stiprinti bendradarbiavimą su aukštojo mokslo institucijomis, studentų organizacijomis, verslu ir kitais išorės partneriais.

Vienas svarbiausių artėjančių projekto etapų – CINNOVATE tarptautinė projektų savaitė „Joint Camp“, kuri 2026 m. lapkričio 16–20 d. vyks Lietuvos verslo kolegijoje Klaipėdoje. Ji suburs CINNOVATE projekto partnerius, dėstytojus, studentus, mentorius, mentorystės programos dalyvius ir verslo atstovus. Prie tarptautinės savaitės taip pat prisijungs Erasmus+ BIP „PEN Goes Circular: Practice Enterprises for a Sustainable Future“ dalyviai.

Programoje numatytos verslumo, inovacijų ir tvarumo veiklos, „Green LAB“ konferencija, vizitas į Klaipėdos laisvąją ekonominę zoną, intelektinės nuosavybės ir patentų tematikai skirtos sesijos bei pažintis su Klaipėdos verslo ir inovacijų ekosistema. Tarptautinė savaitė kurs erdvę bendradarbiavimui, bendrakūrai, žinių mainams ir praktiniam idėjų įgyvendinimui.

Įgyvendindama CINNOVATE projektą, LTVK stiprina aukštojo mokslo, verslo ir tarptautinės partnerystės sąveiką, sudarydama galimybes studentams, akademinei bendruomenei ir partneriams žinias bei idėjas paversti praktinėmis iniciatyvomis, kuriančiomis vertę tvaraus verslumo ir žiedinės ekonomikos srityse.
